Text reads: Hello all, Tina has identified the need for a group with this scope: “so, can some of us constitute ourselves as an organized group to write gender-critical lesbian-focused stuff to the UN that is also opposed to pathologizing of anyone including transgender people? I need some support and some degree of distancing and formalization if I’m going to do this work. I won’t be party to the mental illness narrative that some feminists put out about transgender people. And, I want to do it, because it’s coming even into disability hr work and I am not going to be able to be silent.” I am envisioning we could begin with a statement of principles to communicate the group values–so we are clear within the group and to provide context for the positions we take. But I don’t know anything about this kind of organizing, so Tina, I’d defer to your wisdom on it if you have a better idea of a starting place. -Devorah
